Chris Zurlo, a brown belt under John Hassett of Hassett's Jiu-Jitsu, has been a dedicated martial artist and instructor since age ten. Before focusing on Jiu-Jitsu, Chris earned a fourth-degree black belt and instructed at Okinawa Kenpo Karate Academy. In his early 20s, Chris discovered a lifelong passion for Jiu-Jitsu for its endless depth and infinite possibilities. His extensive background provides a strong foundation for his role teaching the Tuesday and Thursday children's Jiu-Jitsu program, where he shares his knowledge and enthusiasm with young learners.
